My name is Robert Costa and I am a neon and Cold Cathode fabricator and designer with 30 years of experience in the industry. During this time I have been called upon to troubleshoot and repair other manufacturers Cold Cathode systems. Cathode Systems of America is the culmination of my experience with these systems.

Our transformers are UL2161 listed and our ballasts comply with UL935. Both systems supply secondary-circuit ground fault protection. Not all manufacturers meet these criteria. Our full line of transformers and ballasts are dimmable and will operate on facility lighting control systems down to 10%. In keeping with European standards, no transformer exceeds 10,000 volts. The elimination of higher voltage transformers alone eliminates almost all problems that occurred with other systems.

Our systems meet the most stringent European standards, making them safer, reliable and more “installer friendly” than other systems on the market. They are also backed up with easily accessible factory trained technical support and prompt replacement of lamps, should damage occur in shipping or on the jobsite. All of our systems are UL listed and comply with NEC requirements and specifications.
